28. Teaching Patience to an Impatient Man

Living the long haul of evangelism takes focus. We are in the seed business so many of the people I’ve shared with, become long-term projects. We let it go, but don’t let it go. We need to have great faith in the Goodness of the Lord. Immediate results are the goal of an impatient man, but not always to the plan of God. Learn to accept your limitations in front of an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God. The Lord’s plan and timetable rule the day. Do your job and leave the results to the Lord.

Always employ the fruits of the Spirit. There is no law against these things! Yep, patience is in there, but let’s hurry up and get to the kindness. Which one of the fruits of the Spirit do you struggle with?

It's encouraging that God’s desire is that no one would be lost, and since we are in complete agreement with Lord, our hope is realistic! We all need Hebrews 11 faith! Read it. If you are like me, you need it!

Galatians 5:22-23 NLT “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, PATIENCE, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
